Must Try: Melt is a great place to eat, drink and socialize with friends. Wonderful atmosphere and live entertainment on certain nights. Also, Wed. evenings they have salsa dancing. If you haven't tried it, it is a must.

 

Lubbock needed a bar/lounge like this!: Great place and location. Is an upscale lounge/bar with great drinks and food. It seems to attract a more mature crowd, and some college folks, but with everyone dressed to impress. Nice music and atmosphere, and unlike anything else in depot district. Reminds us of upscale places we visited in Dallas. Lubbock needed a place like this! Thanks! The manager also took great care of us, as did the bartender and staff!

 

Lucky for me, the first restaurant we stopped at had a 45 minute wait for seating, because we decided to try Melt again. I'm so glad we did! (After our 2nd visit, our first was for lunch, and was also wonderful.)

This is a classy place with great chefs! The atmosphere is urban elegance with romantic lighting. I LOVE the aquarium and the enormous red velvet curtains. This place is perfect for parties of 2 or 20.

The food is awesome. I tried the special the last time we dined there. I had a veal chop with fried potatoes and asparagus. The veal was so tender (and juicy) that I could've cut it with my fork. Like butta! The asparagus was crisp-tender, perfect!! I will be back again and again
